3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
White powder with blue specks.
Eye irritant. May cause burning and redness. May cause skin
irritation. Can react with alkaline materials or metals. Can emit
toxic fumes if mixed with products containing chlorine or other
sanitizing ingredients.
Not a fire hazard.
This product is labeled in accordance with regulations administered
by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). However, the use
pattern and exposure in the workplace are generally not consistent
with those experienced by consumers. Therefore, the requirements of
the Occupational Safety and Health Administration applicable to this
MSDS differ from the labeling requirements of the CPSC, and this MSDS
may contain additional health hazard information not pertinent to
consumer use and not found on the product label; such as appropriate
protective measures to prevent eye and prolonged skin contact
(glasses, goggles, rubber gloves, protective clothing) and minimize
inhalation exposure (engineering controls, NIOSH-approved respiratory
protection appropriate for the hazard presented) are recommended.

Potential Health Effects
Primary Route(s) of Entry: Eyes, skin contact, inhalation, ingestion
EYE: Potential for severe irritation if not treated immediately.Corneal
damage on extended exposure.
SKIN CONTACT: Varying severities of irritation are possible from prolonged,
repeated, or occluded exposure to skin.Contact on a burn or other wound
likely to cause stinging pain or irritation.
INGESTION: Ingested amounts may cause burning and pain in the mouth and
throat with redness and swelling of mucous membranes. May cause pain,
vomiting, dizziness. Harmful if swallowed.
INHALATION: Inhaled mists may cause irritation to the upper respiratory
tract.
SUBCHRONIC EFFECTS/CARCINOGENICITY: None known. Not classified as
carcinogenic by IARC, NTP, OSHA, OR ACGIH or NIOSH.
4. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYES: Immediately flush eyes with a directed stream of water for at least
15 minutes, forcibly holding eyelids apart to insure complete irrigation
of all eye and lid tissues. IF IRRITATION PERSISTS GET MEDICAL ATTENTION.
SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing, including footwear. Wash contaminated
areas thoroughly with soap and water. Wash clothing before reuse. Do not
reuse footwear that is contaminated on the inner surfaces. GET MEDICAL
ATTENTION IF IRRITATION DEVELOPS.
INHALATION: Immediately move from area of exposure to fresh air. If
breathing is difficult have a trained person administer oxygen. If
breathing has stopped, have a trained person administer artificial
respiration. GET MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY.
INGESTION: NEVER GIVE ANYTHING BY MOUTH TO AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON. If
ingested, do not induce vomiting. If the patient is conscious and can
swallow, first rinse out mouth and then give one or two glasses of water
to drink. GET MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY.

containers for disposal.

Wear protective equipment when handling material to prevent skin and eye
contact.Avoid breathing dust. Store in a cool, dry area away from
incompatible substances.Keep containers closed.

materials.
