The Fibral material is a non woven abrasive material used for the cleaning and
stripping of metal and is not a chemical as above, and as regarded by EEC
guidelines 91/155/EWG. Despite this fact an EEC safety data sheet is provided
in order to give the necessary information for a safe handling of the non woven
material.

This product is made up from the following raw materials: Polyamide fibres,
cured Phenol Formaldehyde resin, Aluminum Oxide and alumino silicate refractory
aggregate abrasive grits and color.
Note: The alumino silicate contains no free crystalline silicon.

Footnote: On the basis of the information available to us, abrasive materials
are non toxic both in storage and in use, but precautions need to be taken to
avoid inhalation and contact with dust particles generated in use (see section
8).

3. POSSIBLE HAZARDS

Fire fighting hazards as section 5 below.
Inert in storage, but a nuisance dust generated during end-use. Proper
precautions should there fore be taken by end users as described in Section 8.

4. FIRST-AID MEASURES

See item 3 above. The following is only applicable in end use.
General advice:  The only hazard is from non toxic dust particulates
                 In end use.
Inhalation:      No special treatment necessary for short exposures
                 (see note 8).
Skin contact:    No special treatment necessary, i.e. safe to handle.
Eye contact:     Irrigation with water to clear dust. Consult eye
                 specialist.
Ingestion;       No special treatment necessary for isolated occurrences.
                 Do not ingest.
Information for the doctor: These fabrics are non toxic except when burning
                 (see 5 below).

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

Suitable extinguishing media:    Any can be used.
Unsuitable extinguishing media:  None.
Exposure hazards:            During a fire irritating and toxic gases
                             may be evolved during thermal
                             decomposition and combustion.
                             Decomposition products can include
                             carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, trace
                             formaldehyde, and other products of
                             decomposition.
Protective equipment for fire-fighters:  Full emergency equipment with self-
                             contained breathing apparatus must be worn.
