                            3.  HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION


Toxicity:                                     
   Eye irritant. May irritate respiratory system upon frequent or prolonged use. 
   High concentrations may irritate eyes, nose and respiratory system and cause 
   central nervous system effects. Swallowing may cause gastrointestinal 
   irritation, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Material vomited after ingestion 
   and aspirated into the lungs may cause bronchopneumonia or pulmonary edema, 
   which may be fatal. It has been suggested that mineral spirits may cause 
   kidney damage in laboratory animals.

Primary Routes of Entry;         
   Skin contact, ingestion, and inhalation.

Signs and Symptoms of
Exposure;                                  
   None under normal conditions of use. Overexposure may cause eye or 
   respiratory system irritation; headache, nausea, dizziness, weakness, 
   fatigue, unconsciousness; vomiting diarrhea; eye redness, tearing, blurred 
   vision.
